COVID-19 Health Care Assistant

A mobile and tablet application that allows care providers to seamlessly check-in new patients, so there’s more time for patients and less paperwork.

Key findings

  • Hospitals are segregated by COVID and non-COVID patients, so patients are often redirected to different location.

  • When you get tested for COVID, you will only receive a phone call if you test positive but about 70 - 80% people still call back to check their results.

  • Nurses do most of their communication with their patients through phone calls and through MyChart but many non-tech savvy people struggle with the application.
